CENTER CROSSHEADS
B-1 LOVOL FIXED OR ADJUSTABLE

The B-1 Lovol Series of Fixed or Adjustable Center Crossheads offers a unique building block design. It’s ideal for single and composite extrusion, striping and even sleeving/tubing of most thermoplastic materials in the wire and cable, and medical grade tubing industries. A crosshead dedicated to single extrusion is available, but the purchase of the composite version enables the user to change to single or striping by simply changing one or two components.

The crosshead features our unique 8-flow multiple-entry, multiple-channel helicoid or spiral helicoid for balanced flow distribution of material, regardless of extruder RPM or viscosity changes also offers easy flow helicoid. For equal thermal distribution, the B-1 Lovol features a 625 watt, 230 volt mineral band heater for the head cartridge.
All components are manufactured from tool steels. One process is dense nickel plated and heat treated to reduce excessive wear.
The other process is stainless tool steel for medical application.
